Albertosaurus
MEASUREMENTS:
Length:  45.7 cm.
Width:   48.3 cm.
Height:   17.8 cm.
Weight:  22.7 kg.

This footprint is unique because of the claw marks shown at the tip of each digit. This tyrannosaurid, possibly belonging to the Albertosaurus, was a smaller dinosaur than was Tyrannosaurus, but shows many of their common features. This one had a massively built, big head and a short body with pillar-like legs to support its great body weight. This footprint is a beautiful museum piece specimen. This dinosaur was a fearsome, meat-eating predator.


Albertosaurus

A very large therapod specimen, this very beautiful natural cast footprint was extracted from the coal swamp peats of the ancient Blackhawk Formation of the Late Cretaceous Period. This print is a very high quality museum specimen. This possible Albertosaurus was a smaller dinosaur than its contemporary rival, the Tyrannosaurus rex. It had a massive head and a short body, with pillar-like legs to support it tremendous body weight. It had extra ribs to protect its internal organs.

Another example of a very beautiful museum specimen, this Albertosaurs walked fearlessly through the coal swamps of the Late Cretaceous Period over 65 million years ago. A smaller tyrannosaurid than was the Tyrannosaurus rex, it was nonetheless a terrifying reptile of great destruction. This was a large carnivorous dinosaur that lay prey to everything that crossed its path.

This footprint is unique because of the claw shown in such nice detail. Beautiful preservation of the footprints makes them terrific museum piece specimens. This Albertosaurus belongs to the Tyrannosauridae family, but is smaller than Tyrannosaurus rex. Although smaller than Tyrannosaurus rex, this dinosaur was faster and may well have been more aggressive. The 1.2-meter head was massive, and the short body had pillar-like lets to support the tremendous weight of Albertosaurus.
